We are doing our part to follow mandatory guidelines from our government. We have adjusted our procedures to keep working on existing projects while keeping our workers and customers safe. We continue to take new appointments for design and estimating, most of which can be done without any direct contact with our team. We appreciate all opportunities to keep our great employees working through this trying time - request a quote to begin your project.
Wood Decks
Natural Beauty in a Variety of Looks
Tight Knot Cedar Decks
Harvested across Canada, tight know cedar has a uniform smattering of knots, burls and other naturally occurring markings that add to the decorative character of the deck. With a rustic look that was the Gold Standard for decks in the Northwest for years, its beauty is undeniable.
Tight Knot Cedar is perhaps the most economical of our natural wood deck options. There are specific maintenance requirements, so we recommend it for certain projects – contact us to see if it might be right for you, or get a quote.
Mahogany Decks
Our mahogany is harvested from all over the world, with each location providing a variety of distinct styles. Mahogany decks are a bit more expensive than cedar, and provide a cleaner, more elegant look similar to a denser hardwood but without the price tag.
Mahogany decks are also durable, and with proper maintenance they can last 15 to 20 years. For help choosing styles and getting a quote, let us know what you’re looking for.
Ipe Decks
Ipe (pronounced ee-pay) wood is a beautiful natural hardwood that is extremely sturdy. Originating in Brazil, this wood was originally shipped to the States for container decks and trucks because of its durability. Now, all of our ipe comes from sustainably harvested trees and is used to build solid, long-lasting decks.
Top of the line ipe decks require minimal maintenance and can last 25 years or more. IPE is popular with home owners who want the natural beauty of wood without the maintenance required with Cedar and Mahogany Decks.
The project went amazingly well and the end result is beautiful. The team lead (William) worked closely with us through out the project coordinating all activities and doing most of the work. The project took nine days. The quality of the work is absolutely top notch – I wish my house was built as well as the decks. We are very pleased. If you are looking for a custom deck and want the best, contact Three Rivers Custom Decks.
